When Melissa and Ben decided they wanted to do their engagement session in Saxapahaw, our hearts skipped a beat. There’s just something about this small town tucked in between everything that really speaks to us. Maybe it’s the way the river winds right through the middle of it, or that each time we find a new trail to explore. It could be the amazing locally sourced food cooked with love at the General Store. Whatever the reason, it’s a great place to go – and this fall day gave some beautiful late afternoon light for Melissa & Ben’s shoot. They wanted to include their furry baby, Daisy and she was super excited about exploring along the river as well. I just love how intimate their session feels, and that we could capture their love for each other so sweetly! We are looking forward to their springtime wedding!
