In the silence of nature, love flourishes. Somehow, away from the hurried bustle of life and the noise of the city, perfection is found in simplicity … in the liquid smatter of a raindrop falling into a puddle … a squirrel hurrying up to grab a treat from a human hand … or the sound of birds in the trees chirping because a recent rain shower has drenched the ground and provided them with worms to catch. There’s a wet heaviness in the air .. and it’s perfect for cuddling with the person you love and setting off on a romantic camping adventure …
Amanda and Jin met at NC State .. she’s focused on International Studies and Jin has been in the US for two years. “Let’s do something crazy for this shoot,” he said, as he gave her a wink when we met them for coffee a few weeks ago. Finally, we settled on some fashionable camping, or ‘glamping’ as it ended up being referred to. They were going to portray two college kids stuck in the woods with little clue how to survive the elements, that end up building a tent from a sheet. Of course, we didn’t plan on it drizzling for over an hour before we got started, but that just gave us time to hang out under shelter feeding squirrels while we waited.
Jin and Amanda are so obviously in love with each other .. the two of them are so cute together!

It’s also where we got the song title from for this post – we’ve actually kind of fallen in love with the song as well since we heard it! It was so much fun working with you two and we can’t wait to do some more!
