A princess. That’s what a bride feels like on her wedding day. This was the feeling we wanted to evoke through our Love Story inspiration shoot, that was partially inspired by the Taylor Swift Love Story music video. To achieve it, we teamed up with several amazing vendors, most local to our area, to create this romantical inspiration. Thank you to each and every one of you who gave time and resources to bring this modern day fairy tale to life. We couldn’t have done it without you!
We woke up to rain the day of the shoot but by afternoon, it had all but faded away, giving us a chance to get some outdoor shots as well. The Fuquay Mineral Spring Inn and Garden was the setting for our lovely real-life couple.

This historic home with gorgeous chandeliers, antique furniture, and priceless art, provided a period-romance feel and the parlor and dining room were the perfect colors for our red, pink, and cream color scheme. It’s a great place near the Raleigh area to hold an outdoor garden wedding, or even a small intimate one in their beautiful parlor.

The bride’s bouquet, boutonniere, and table centerpiece were designed with with roses, tulips, and lilies by Expressions of Love. They were wonderful to work with, and we highly recommend them to brides looking for a florist.

Cupcake Bite created the cupcakes for our shoot. We were so excited when they opened up in town and contacted Gina about participating, which she was happy to do (thanks!). Not only are they beautiful and taste awwwesome, but they are made from hormone free dairy products, preservative free, and no artificial flavors or colors. Yes, we are health junkies!

THE shot of the day, in my opinion. There’s a very intimate feeling in this picture, and you can feel love!

Occasions by Dee helped us pull together some of the details for the table decorations and place settings.

Our friend Jacqueline Dziadosz from Philadelphia designed the wedding stationary (menus, placeholders, RSVP cards, & invitations) for the shoot. We wanted something that said ‘fairy tale’ when you look at it – and she delivered awesome results!

Shannon Sharpe, of Conversionz Makeup, ensured that our bride and groom looked stunning!

This one says it all. The light, the expression – perfection.

There was this gorgeous light coming in the stairwell that we had to take advantage of!

This photo was one of Anna’s favorites of the day. The jewelry that Sonia wore was handmade by Elemental Elegance – a one of a kind jewelry business owned by Anthony’s mother. The ring she wore was originally his grandmother’s.

Anna created this stylish banner out of paper heart doilies and did the calligraphy for the ‘happily ever after’ message. :)

These shots, reminiscent of a scene in the music video, were taken in the middle of the day, in broad daylight. Maybe sometime in the future we’ll share a behind the scenes on how we got them to look this way :)
