The Office Makeover: 2.0

You remember how we posted a while back about our first office makeover? Yeah, it was actually 2010 *cringe* .. that’s how long it’s been since we did a big reorganization of our office / workspace. It was getting pretty bad again y’all, and our creativity was being severely hampered – so we finally took a few days and did a major overhaul.

Agh … agh … I’m cringing here folks .. here’s what it looked like before we started – I wanna just stick a LOLcats photo in here instead of showing you the bit of chaos we walked into each morning … ok, here goes:

There was a lot of things piled here and there, clutter that we’d just kept pushing back and not cleaning up …

Whoa! New fabulousness! We decided that plush office chairs that recline are just not our style anymore, so we got rid of them. Well, we still have one left that we’re trying to get rid of (anyone want an office chair in good condition? Anna’s about to put it out along the road for someone to take – it WILL be gone before tonight. We’ve never not had someone take our junk away as treasure ;-) We’re probably going to change out these black chairs for something white and little more chic, but for now we’ve implemented them. We also added two new shelf units for better organization.

I do love having a large second monitor. It makes multi tasking so much more efficient.

We picked up these super cute metal buckets at Five and Below for storing things like pens, and pencils are in mason jars, of course!

Look, even the Beetle has a place now!

More great organization we found at Five and Below .. the metal storage containers hold a variety of different things now.

Yellow = sunshine = happy.

We even have a place for our candy. That is legitimately important.

*sigh* even the hippie bus has a new home .. doesn’t he look content and happy?

Oh – I also saw this super cute Ty baby last night at the store. Anna thinks he looks like Mort from Penguins of Madagascar. He does have his eyes, right?

Happy Thursday!
