How We Met:
Online, through our Xanga blogs (Yeah, we know it’s old school.). Brent lived in Pennsylvania and Anna lived in North Carolina at the time. Online chats led to phone conversations, then to our first in-person meeting, and like they say, the rest is history!
How He Proposed:
Twice, actually! (She was playing hard to get.) After dining at a fine Italian restaurant, Brent proposed to Anna as they sat beside each other in the car at the restaurant’s parking lot. Brent followed her “Yes” (finally!) with a romantic carriage ride through Raleigh the very next day.
Our Wedding Day:
It was August 11th, 2007. In a little white country church (which Anna had always dreamed of), our dear family and friends gathered to celebrate our marriage with us. Our day was a huge family affair, with food, cake, decor, and florals all made by family members. And it was definitely one of the best days of our life!
Our Journey into Photography:
Brent had always been interested in photography, but after we were married, we got a new camera and enjoyed taking pictures together. It wasn’t long before we thought- “Let’s start a business doing this!” We have learned so much and grown since those early days, but one fact stays the same. We LOVE photography because of the people we meet and the stories we get to become a part of.
