Yates Mill: The Best Happiness is Family Happiness

“Our family is all one big crazy bunch!”, exclaimed Lea as she maneuvered her family into the next location for our sunny shoot at Yates Mill last Saturday. Having a large extended family of our own, we can totally relate :) Every family has to have a little crazy in it, otherwise it’s just boring.

But if there ever was the cutest bunch of couples and their kids, this must have been it. The occasion? Mammaws birthday. She was turning 90 and everyone wanted to get together and take some photos with her to celebrate the day. Mammaw was just glowing with all of her family and friends around her – and you could tell she still had spunk too. “I’m gonna eat as much ice cream and cake as I want to this afternoon” – she informed us. She loves making quilts, and everyone in the family has gotten their own from her as a special heirloom gift .. which I’m sure they’ll treasure forever.

There was lots of laughs, snuggles, and kisses going around, and Mammaw didn’t seem to mind at all!

Terry and Marian .. you were right, after all the years of being together – you do compliment each other quite nicely. And you’re so happy together :) A bee flew across one photo and Terry thought that was cool so I’m including that one here .. just for you.
